Lisa transformed our 8–year–old daughter’s relationship with literacy. She developed a customized and personalized approach for our daughter’s learning. Lisa applied proven techniques and gamified each session with different activities that our daughter just loved. Lisa’s buoyant and warm personality is infectious, and our daughter always looked forward to her sessions. We couldn’t recommend Lisa more highly!

Our son recently completed his first year of NILD therapy. Lisa is a highly dedicated teacher, she is thorough and caring.  We were impressed with NILD therapy and Lisa’s level of professionalism. We found her to be very positive and she made a conscious effort to connect with our son. She has been a huge gift to our family and we would recommend her wholeheartedly if your child has learning differences and difficulties.

Lisa worked with our son for two years and in that time showed incredible care and dedication to not only his learning but also to his emotional well being. Lisa was always kind and patient and showed a true passion for helping children to learn in a positive environment.

I feel very fortunate to have met Lisa early in my journey with my son Nathan’s learning disability. She has been Nathan’s tutor from preschool all the way to high school (8 years). Along the way, she has held my hand and lifted my spirits throughout. As all parents of kids with learning differences know, it is not a sprint but a marathon.

I have had a lot of experience with different Orton-Gillingham Tutors and I can attest to the fact that they are not all created equal. My older son Alexander also had OG tutoring from elementary school to high school. The difference was, he had a new tutor for every year. We could never find one worth staying with. There is a 6 year age gap between my sons so Alexander only had Lisa for a few months.

Lisa is smart, reliable, creative, understanding and flexible. More importantly, she cares for Nathan and wants the best for him. Her feedback and insight on his progress throughout the years has been invaluable which is something a new tutor every year for Alexander could not do for us. She is the best!
